Description

This project was a collaborative project with Lever Brothers & Associates to assess the issues and opportunities involved in the reorganisation of the company, including the amalgamation of companies to create unity in Unilever, and the development of new roles for its representatives. Attitudes towards reorganisation were assessed through discussions and surveys and compiled in reports.

File 1: Mainly includes registered documents and other associated papers relating to the first phase of the project around the general reorganisation of the company. Annotated copy of Doc. No. 631 'Some notes on the Organisational Implications of Amalgamating Three Companies' and related notes and correspondence (1961-1962); notes on incentives for representatives (1962); Doc.
