Comprising texts of papers: 'Essentials of the clinical approach in general psychiatry' by Dr D. Stafford-Clark, 'The treatment of sex perversions' by Kurt Schneider, 'The pscyho-pathology and treatment of sexual murderers' by Dr A. Hyatt Williams; text of conference opening address by Kenneth Robinson, MP; transcripts of questions and answers given on papers by Dr Stafford-Clark, Dr Gillespie, Dr Glover, Dr Rosen,Dr Hyatt Williams, Professor Tinbergen, and Dr Morris Carstairs; texts of discussions following papers by Dr Paterson Brown and Dr Rubinstein; text of Dr D. Stafford-Clark's paper 'Essentials of the Clinical Approach in General Psychiatry'.

The file also contains a typed report on the conference possibly for publication in the Lancet.

The conference was convened much in the light of the 1957 Wolfenden Report proposals on homosexuality (which faced difficulty being passed through Parliament) and became the basis for the book of the same title, edited by Rosen and later shortened to just Sexual Deviation.
