Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical receipts. Written in a very illiterate hand. On the verso of the penultimate leaf of the second inserted section is written 'A book of reseats in [17]83'.

1 volume 2 bl. ll. + 81 ll. + 20 bl. ll. folio. 36 × 23 cm. Original vellum binding. Both silk ties wanting. Receipts Nos. 16-25 of the first section are wanting (1 leaf). Headed on the first leaf: 'Hare begines Mrs. H.O.' Bound in are two separate sections of 27 and 20 ll. leaves respectively, by the same hand, but of smaller format 31 × 20 cm.
