With this MS. there are 2 ff. of another draft, 3 pen-and-pencil drawings of the apparatus, and a printed copy of the 'Extrait du Procès-verbal de la Séance générale du 15 Mars 1848' of the 'Société d'Encouragement pour l'Industrie nationale' awarding the author 990 francs as prize-money, with his holograph receipt. Produced in Paris.
