Description

36 letters, from Horder to Charles Noon OBE, (1885-1957), Senior Surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital (information on Noon can be found in Lives of the Fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons Vol IV), on various matters including patient treatment, family health, Christmas gifts of turkeys, etc. Includes a few printed cards, also a circular from Horder as Chairman of the Fellowship for Freedom in Medicine, 6 Jul 1956. One letter is from Geraldine Horder, 23 Dec 1925, and two are from Horder's secretary K F Scarfe, one of which expresses thanks for condolences on Horder's death, 22 Aug 1955. There is one note from Noon which was possibly not sent, conveying concern about Lady Horder's ill-health [26 Feb no year].
