Description In 1965, Clarkson Booker Holiday Company sought the assistance of the Tavistock Institute to assess and analyse the brochures used in advertising their holidays in relation to competing companies. Field work consisted primarily of interviews with holiday makers with a specific emphaiss on the role played by the brochure in influencing decisions. A second phase of the project also consisted of extracting data surrounding the company image of Clarkson Booker in light of criticism, increased complaints and bad press.
