Description

Hugh Murray undertook work on behalf of the Tavistock Institute Human Resources Centre to assess the social aspects of the plan to develop a univeristy on a site in Teeside. The Tavistock institute were approached to Establish the opinions of administration, teaching staff and students on effects of siting a university in different environments. Includes administrative papers and correspondence; notes of meetings of the working party and the promotion committee; notes of visits to Teeside; notes on the survey of opinion and draft questionnaires; other manuscript notes.
