About this work

Description

A collaborative project with British Leyland and Sheffield University undertaken by Frank Heller and Nick Varelidis on behalf of the Tavistock Institute. The project adoped an action-monitoring approach rather than a consulting approach in order to assist and advise both union representatives and company management on issues surrounding worker participation and industrial relations. The project was similar in objective and theme to previous project such as NET (see SA/TIH/B/2/56) and Jebsens (SA/TIH/B/2/52) through a focus on democratisation of the work place.
